Welcome to Roseberry House Bed & Breakfast, a historic retreat nestled in the heart of uptown Susanville, California. Built in 1902, this charming home originally opened as a bed & breakfast soon after its completion, under the name The Grand Treehouse. In time, it was renamed Roseberry House after the owners, who played a significant role in its early history.
After being closed from 2020 to 2025, the current owners, deeply rooted in the Susanville area since 1864, purchased the business. Their family history traces back to one of the first logging families in the region and early ranchers in Willow Creek Valley. This deep connection to the land and community is a cornerstone of the owners’ desire to create a welcoming space for guests.
Inspired by a memorable stay at a bed & breakfast in Alaska, the current owners set out to offer travelers a personalized and unique experience at Roseberry House Bed & Breakfast. Whether you’re here for a relaxing getaway or an extended stay, their goal is to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
At Roseberry House, every room is designed with your comfort in mind, offering a cozy and intimate atmosphere for couples, families, and solo travelers alike. Guests can unwind in a beautiful, historic setting while enjoying modern amenities, delicious breakfasts, and personalized hospitality.
We invite you to experience the warmth and charm of Roseberry House Bed & Breakfast, where history, family, and a love for great hospitality come together to create a memorable stay in Susanville, CA.
